Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Stuntway for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game and its content remain our property. The tracks you build in the editor are yours; if you share them, you let the people you share them with drive them. Tracks you upload to the community are covered below.

The leaderboards are competitive, so fair play matters. You agree not to:

• Cheat, tamper with the game, or upload falsified or manipulated runs. Every run is driven again on our server from its inputs; runs that do not reproduce are rejected.
• Upload someone else’s run as your own. Ghosts are public so that you can race them, not so that you can resubmit them: runs copied from another player’s ghost are refused, and if one slips through it is removed.
• Use bots, scripts, slowed-down or tool-assisted play, or exploits to gain a leaderboard advantage.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the game except where the law expressly allows it.
• Disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers.

We may remove leaderboard entries, reset times, or block accounts that break these rules.

Your driver name is shown publicly on the leaderboards. It must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, must not impersonate someone else, and must not infringe anyone’s rights, including trademarks. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule, together with the entries under it.

When the game uploads a run, its ghost (the recording of your inputs) becomes public together with your time: anyone can download it and race it in the game. If you do not want that, do not use the online features, or delete your online data at any time in the game.

If you are signed in with Google Play Games, you can upload a track you built in the editor to the community. A track goes public only after a moderator approves it; until then only you can open it. Your own finishing test drive is uploaded with it, and becomes its author time and its first leaderboard entry.

By uploading a track you confirm that you built it, and you grant us and every player a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, show and race it for as long as it is published. You can delete it at any time in the game; its leaderboard goes with it. When you upload a track:

• its name follows the same rules as driver names;
• it must not be a copy of a campaign track or of another player’s track;
• it must not be built to crash the game or to exploit a bug.

Players can report a track, and a reported track goes back for review. We may reject, hide or delete any track, and stop an account from uploading if it breaks these rules.

The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. It needs no account and plays fully offline. On the leaderboards you are identified by a random ID stored on your device; keep in mind that uninstalling the app or clearing its data loses that ID, and with it the link between you and your entries on the server. If the game offers sign-in with Google Play Games and you use it, you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. See our Privacy Policy for the data this involves.

Stuntway is free. It has no in-app purchases and shows no ads. If this ever changes, we will update these terms first and tell you in the game.

We may update, change or discontinue the game, its tracks or the leaderboards at any time, including for maintenance. When a campaign track changes, it gets a fresh leaderboard. We do not guarantee that the online features will always be available; the game itself keeps working offline.

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it, and delete your online data in the game beforehand. We may suspend or end your access to the online features if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
