Delete your data

Stuntway needs no account. If you use the online leaderboards, our server knows you by a random ID stored on your device (or, if you signed in, by your Google Play Games player ID). Here is how to delete everything our server holds about you.

Delete your online data in the game

  1. Open Stuntway on the device you play on.
  2. Go to Settings → Online.
  3. Optional: tap “Download my data” first if you want a copy (a JSON file).
  4. Tap “Delete my online data” and confirm.

The game confirms how many runs were deleted. This permanently deletes from our server:

  • every run you uploaded, on every track, with its time, split times and anti-cheat data;
  • every ghost (the input recordings of your runs), so nobody can download or race them any more;
  • your player record: the driver name or Play Games gamertag and the ID the server knew you by.

Your runs leave the public leaderboards immediately. The deletion cannot be undone. Your times, ghosts and tracks on your device stay where they are; to remove those too, uninstall the app.

What stays

Nothing that identifies you. We keep only a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of the deleted player ID and the time of deletion. It exists for one reason: our backups (at most 4 copies, normally none older than 30 days) may still contain your data until they are removed, and if a backup is ever restored, the fingerprint makes the server erase your data again automatically before it goes back online.

Separately, the web server’s access logs (IP address, time, requested address) are deleted after 10 days, and a message you sent through the contact form is deleted after 180 days, or sooner if you ask.

If you signed in with Google Play Games, your achievements and cloud save are stored by Google in your Google account, not by us. You can delete them in Google Play Games (for example Play Games app → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, or the saved-game management for this game).

Can’t open the game any more?

Write to info@danielnagy.dev or use the contact form, and we will delete your data for you. Tell us your driver name as shown on the leaderboards and the tracks your times are on. If you signed in with Google Play Games, your gamertag is enough for us to find the account.

As a guest you are known to the server only by the random ID on your device, which the game does not show and which we cannot match to an email. Driver names are not unique, so we may ask for something that shows the entries are yours (for example a time you still see on your device) before we remove them. Once the app is uninstalled, that ID is gone, and data left on our server can no longer be connected to you.
